The girls (both of them!) had their first day of the school year this past Tuesday. Here they are that morning, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed:
My oldest is five now, and she's starting kindergarten. Youngest is three (turning four in October,) and she's started preschool. They both love their school, are doing well, and are making new friends. I'm just trying to get used to having extra time on my hands (which is why this will be followed with two more new posts.)

I took the girls to the park today, and we came away with quite a few good pics.

We took a trip to the Oklahoma City Zoo a few weeks ago, and I'm slowly getting some of the pics we took uploaded onto flickr. Click on the photos to see the larger version.
All these photos were taken with a Pentax istD using a 70-300 zoom lens. Eventually I'll get around to uploading more; next time, it'll be pics of the girls.
